I enjoyed my stay at Kings Canyon Resort, mainly due to its fantastic location near the canyon, which made early morning walks easy. The room was clean and comfortable, but I did find it a bit dated and the pricing felt on the higher side for what we received. The dining experience was mixed; while the steaks were fantastic, the service took a while during dinner. Overall, it’s a nice place but a little pricey for what you get.

The resort is an excellent choice for exploring Kings Canyon, offering stunning views and engaging activities. Our suite was spacious and thoughtfully designed but could use a bit of modernization. The staff went above and beyond to assist us, adding to our positive experience. However, the dining options were a bit pricey and the quality of food was average at best.

The resort is set in a stunning area with awe-inspiring natural beauty, making it worth the trip. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family. However, the service felt a bit lacking at times, and the dining options didn’t quite meet expectations. Additionally, the resort had some issues with hot water and basic supplies, which was disappointing.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring two queen beds, air conditioning, and a lovely outlook onto garden scenery. It had a small fridge and a clean bathroom, making for a pleasant stay.
Service
6.0
While the resort staff were generally helpful, I found some of them to be a bit disengaged and overwhelmed. Marteeka at the front desk was particularly supportive, but overall, it felt like there was room for improvement in service.
Location
9.0
The location is simply stunning, very close to Kings Canyon, which offers breathtaking walks. It's a remote area, yet the natural beauty truly makes up for any logistical challenges.
Dining
7.0
Dining experiences varied; the breakfast was basic and reminded me of powdered eggs, while the buffet dinner was okay with some standout dishes like the mushroom soup. However, the cost of dining was on the higher side.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities included a free laundry area, but having to supply your own coins and detergent felt a bit inconvenient. The overall amenities were adequate for a remote location, but there's room for enhancement.

I had an interesting stay at this resort. The canyon views were stunning, and the shaded sites added a nice touch. However, the campground facilities were disappointing as they felt dirty and in need of serious upgrades. The food availability and pricing were frustratingly high, which put a damper on the experience.

The resort is quite remote, and while it has some nice features, it also needs some improvement. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but cleanliness and modern amenities could be better. Dining options are limited and not very appealing, with a few disappointments during breakfast. Overall, it’s decent for a short stay, mainly if you're focused on visiting Kings Canyon.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with controllable air conditioning. However, ours had a problem with a drain smell and some dated fittings.
Service

Check-in was a bit frustrating as our room wasn't ready until 3 PM, and the staff could be more welcoming. However, they were efficient in assisting with the keys.
Location
7.0
The location is stunning, nestled among beautiful rock formations, but it is quite far from Kings Canyon, which may not meet everyone's expectations.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was disappointing with limited breakfast options and issues with cleanliness. It would benefit from a better effort in food preparation.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area is nice, and there are some enjoyable activities available on-site, although the overall resort feels somewhat dated.
